This is a collection of memos and reports that I wrote during my time as a media and technology consultant. I formed The Digital Futurist Consultancy after I left Central Newspapers in 2000. CNI is Gannett Corp. and I was “made redundant.” Among my clients were the McClatchy Co., MediaNews Co., the San Francisco Chronicle, the Online News Association and CCI publishing systems. During 2002 I became the Presidential Scholar at The Poynter Institute. Some of these memos are also reflected in the “Analog to Digital” timeline, which is the heart of this project.
